CAMÉRA STYLO

Cinema Studies Student Union’s Undergraduate Journal

Caméra Stylo has re-opened submissions for Volume 18 (2017-18)!

Caméra Stylo  is the undergraduate academic journal in cinema studies at the University of Toronto. It runs as an offshoot of the Cinema Studies Student Union (CINSSU) and in collaboration with the Cinema Studies Institute (CSI), with seventeen volumes in publication.   We are looking for exceptional papers written by upper-level undergraduate students. The process is guided by our faculty advisor, Professor Alberto Zambenedetti.    The criteria for eligible papers include: * Papers submitted to any 300 or 400 level CIN (or cross-listed) course. The final research paper for CIN201Y1 is also eligible for submission if it contains original research. * Papers written outside the Cinema Department are eligible so long as it has been previously approved by a CSI faculty member. * Papers need not be written within the last year. They can be from any year so long as the author is a current UofT student in their undergraduate studies. All essays must not exceed 4000 words. The quality or quantity of your submitted entries in the first round does not affect your eligibility to submit in the second.
